Sonia Rose was founded on the principle of independent thinking that is strong enough to go against the grain.  What does this mean?  It means our company culture is about finding financial opportunities that are not obvious and available to the market at large.  If there is a big moat and barrier to entry, then we want to clear that hurdle.  If there are complicated legal and operational circumstances, then we want to solve that puzzle. 

 

For us, the area of distressed assets presents the perfect crossroads of legal, business and financial opportunity.  While traditional markets are cluttered with stakeholders and are largely matured, distressed situations are less cluttered and may be exploited with careful planning, analysis and strategy.  While we are not contrarian in nature, we refuse to do things "the way they were always done".   As our name indicates,  Sonia Rose is built on crafting strategies that are challenged, debated, tested, implemented and succeed through changing factual circumstances.
